Do you have questions about pathways to becoming a midwife in California? Are you overwhelmed with the differences in programs, acronyms, and costs? Our mentors can lay out your options for academic education and clinical preceptorship. Are you a student who is already enrolled in a MEAC-accredited program, looking for guidance on paperwork, scheduling, and completing your program efficiently? Do you need confidential support to debrief difficult situations in your training?
Think of our mentors as "student midwife life coaches," who can support you through the complex experiences involved with completing a midwifery program for California licensure. Welcome Home Midwifery Services, Inc. advocates for the rights of students, including the right to be treated with dignity, respect, and appropriate expectations during academic and clinical training.
