"She kept me calm and focused through my contractions and
well-informed through each step of the process."

Welcome Home collects, anonymizes, and interprets data on demographics and health outcomes of the families served through its Doula Program. Data summaries are communicated to the Executive Board, staff members, and the public to convey the true impact of community doula support.

The following is a summary of data from clients who entered into care and consented for the release of their data from November 1, 2015-December 31, 2017.

Clients who opted into the project were given a short questionnaire at the onset of care about their background, income, social services currently utilized, and birth plan.

Information about the length of labor, mode of birth, length of gestation, and newborn health are documented by the Apprentice Doula as reported by the client's medical care provider.
